In principle you are entitled to special assistance if you meet the following conditions:

• You have the Dutch nationality or are equated with it.
• You live and stay in the Netherlands.
• You have insufficient income and ability to pay the costs yourself.
• You are 18 years or older.
• Your costs must demonstrably be unforeseen and necessary.
• You have costs due to special or urgent circumstances.
• The reimbursement of costs can not be done in any other way.

With the "Toevoeging" of € 143, - you can request special assistance from your municipality for your own contribution to lawyer's fees. If this application is granted, your costs will be reimbursed.
